I’ve been a spy in French Occupied Algiers for several years now. This is my story. By day, I work undercover, as a teacher. At night, I am an agent of the British Intelligence Service. I operate a small observation post out of my dingy rooftop apartment. I transmit my reports in Morse code, and receive new orders under the cover of darkness. It’s a dangerous job, and I never know who to trust.
